This Privacy Policy explains how Ten X Better Projects Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), including when you submit a construction/building application, track a project, or unlock any paid feature.

When you apply for a project or use the Service, we collect:

• Identity information: full name, phone number, email address, and National Registration Card (NRC) number.
• NRC document photos: images of the front and back of your NRC, used to verify your identity before construction work begins.
• Project information: site location, plot details, project type, specifications, budget range, uploaded plan documents, and related building preferences.
• Payment information: payment method, payment schedule preference, and — where applicable — mobile money provider, mobile money number, and account name used to process payments. We do not collect or store your mobile money PIN or any banking credentials.
• Communication preferences: your preferred contact method (phone call, WhatsApp, or email).
• Photos and progress updates: construction progress photos and notes shared with you during your project.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To review, process, and manage your construction application.
• To verify your identity before work begins.
• To provide status updates and progress tracking for your project.
• To contact you regarding your application, payments, or project updates.
• To confirm and process payments, including matching mobile money transactions to your account.
• To improve our services and maintain accurate business records.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on the following trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Your information may be processed and stored by them on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Firestore Database): stores your application data and project records securely.
• Cloudinary: stores uploaded images and documents (NRC photos, plans, progress photos).

These providers have their own security and privacy practices. We only share the minimum information necessary for them to provide their service to us.

4. Payment Processing

Where mobile money payment is used, we temporarily record the mobile money number, provider, and account name you provide in order to match your payment to your account once received. We do not have access to your mobile money PIN, and we cannot initiate withdrawals from your mobile money account. Payment confirmation is based on transaction details forwarded to us at the time of payment.

5. Data Retention

We retain your application, identity, and project information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete your project, maintain business and legal records, and resolve any disputes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9), subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require us to retain certain records.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising purposes. Information is only shared with the service providers listed in Section 3, or where required by law.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to Section 5.
• Withdraw consent for further contact regarding your application.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults seeking construction services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
